High vacuum brazing

Vacuum brazing is a technique for connecting metallic materials (such as steel, titanium, carbide, ...) with non-metallic materials (such as diamond, sapphire, ceramics, ...).
The temperature cycle is not started before all the oxygen is pumped out of the vacuum chamber. It is the only way that guarantees a perfect connection between the two materials and the diamond is not damaged at high temperatures.
